Lighting of two pedestrian footbridges

Montluçon (France)Road & Mobility

Opposite the Montluçon town hall, two footbrididges spanning the sunken gardens have been enhanced with elegant, functional lighting that integrates seamlessly with the architecture.

The City of Montluçon, project specifier, chose custom solutions to illuminate the pathways while preserving the understated aesthetic of the structures.

Each footbridge is equipped with:

  • LIMA 5682 serving as the handrail
  • SCHOOL-LIGHT 5640 in warm white, fitted with a power dimmer to adjust the lighting according to use and the desired ambiance

Dimensions:

  • Footbridge A: 11 m + 10.8 m
  • Footbridge B: 11.8 m + 12 m

This lighting scheme enhances nighttime legibility for pedestrians while highlighting the finesse of the structures.
