Mont-Saint-Michel Footbridge

Mont-Saint-Michel (France)Road & Mobility

In this emblematic site, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the lighting had to remain unobtrusive—present without ever being noticed.

For the access footbridge to Mont-Saint-Michel, Dietmar Feichtinger Architectes designed a discreet lighting solution, perfectly integrated into the structure and capable of withstanding the extreme climatic conditions of this island site.

The lighting subtly accompanies the crossing, never competing with the majesty of the Mont nor disturbing the natural beauty of the bay. A project in which technology steps back in service of the landscape.
