In partnership with LEC of the RAGNI GROUP, the project successfully combined technical, aesthetic, and environmental requirements with a clear objective: to identify solutions that met expectations while optimising costs and strictly adhering to the original specifications.<\/p>\n<\/div>            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p><br>The municipality of Morzine-Avoriaz sought to rethink the lighting of the footbridge for two main reasons: to strengthen its visibility as a local landmark and to provide an event-ready option for occasions such as Rock The Pistes or the renowned Harley-Davidson gathering. At the same time, the existing functional lighting needed to be optimised to better meet residents\u2019 needs while complying with the 2018 regulation on light pollution.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p>The implementation of new lighting therefore had to take into account, on the one hand, robustness in the face of natural elements, and on the other, strict control of light pollution and the project\u2019s environmental impact. A bold decision was thus made: to forgo lighting a key emblematic section of the footbridge, as it was impossible to prevent most of the luminous flux from being lost towards the sky. This option was clearly unreasonable\u2014especially since the functional lighting integrated into the handrail already highlighted the wooden deck of the footbridge, naturally creating a subtle outline.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"block-hero-block_142f58ccf84bdf1cd2222d41e3fc115c\" class=\"container-fluid txt_media_part  block-hero\">\n    <div class=\"row\">\n        <div class=\"col-12 col-lg-6 col-xl-6 px-0 media order-1 order-lg-1\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lec.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/Ragni_Morzine_LucasStanus-175.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"img-fluid\">        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"col-12 col-lg-6 col-xl-6 col-xxl-5 px-xl-5 pt-5 pt-lg-0 txt order-2 order-lg-2 d-flex align-items-center\">\n            <div class=\"txt_part px-2 px-xl-5\">\n            <div class=\"content\"><p>The city also chose a point-by-point control system along the central span, enabling the creation of a rainbow effect using the RGB option, while the two lateral sections\u2014also RGB\u2014change colour synchronously. To bring this vision to life, several LEC projector models were installed: 29 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lec.fr\/en\/produit\/5640-school-light\/\">SCHOOL-LIGHT<\/a> units, 114 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lec.fr\/en\/produit\/5632-arches\/\">ARCHES<\/a> units, and 16 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lec.fr\/en\/produit\/4040-luminy-4\/\">LUMINY 4<\/a> projectors equipped with specific beam shapers.<\/p>\n<p>These luminaires combine performance, aesthetics, and durability, while offering a solution suited to the project\u2019s two distinct timeframes: timed functional lighting to limit environmental impact, and fully customisable ambient lighting for events.<\/p>\n<\/div>            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\">\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p>The lighting scenarios were designed by LEC\u2019s technical team, represented by Julie Barrier, Head of the Engineering Department, and Julien Trenel, Technical Director, in collaboration with Aymeric Jacquier from the municipality of Morzine-Avoriaz, as well as with the elected officials, during three programming sessions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p>Today, the Fran\u00e7ois Baud footbridge stands more than ever as a true link between residents and visitors alike. Its carefully designed lighting has become a source of pride for the people of Morzine and enhances the resort\u2019s nocturnal landscape. Through this project, Morzine-Avoriaz continues to demonstrate its commitment to innovation and its deep attachment to local heritage.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p>We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the stakeholders who contributed to the enhancement of this footbridge: SYANE (client), SPIE CityNetworks (Thonon-les-Bains branch), Accro-BTP, and BE PROFILS \u00c9TUDES for their involvement, as well as Guillaume J\u00e9ol for the lighting design.
