Donna<\/strong>, Public Lighting Department, City of Lyon, project manager:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p>\u201cOur aim was to recreate lighting along the entire route in order to highlight the structural boundaries of the site\u2014namely the stone boundary walls\u2014while keeping the panoramic view over the city unobstructed, and to provide easy access for users, like a carpet of light unfolding before them.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p>In daytime conditions, the lighting had to be as discreet as possible, preserving this exceptional view of the city, with linear LED equipment that blends seamlessly into its surroundings.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p>At night, we wanted to create a sequence of luminous points offering real visual comfort and ensuring uniform lighting performance along the entire length of the street\u2014like a string, a guide of light.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p>We therefore needed to select linear luminaires suited to the site\u2019s configuration and to obtain optics capable of working along the full length of the route.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p>The result fully meets our expectations, with excellent uniformity in lighting levels.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p>LEC\u2019s great strength lies in its ability to adapt to our on-site constraints by providing a bespoke technical response on two levels:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 list\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First, an L2 optic adapted to our need for uniform lighting along the entire street.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Second, an electrical solution which, by grouping two cables into one, creates this linear string of light.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p>To illuminate rue Jos\u00e9phin Soulary, 48 LED projectors 5533-Soulary were suspended on a 470-metre-long cable.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12 col-xl-10 offset-xl-1 paragraph\">\n<p>The lighting system features dimming control, allowing light levels to be adjusted to suit the needs of local residents.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
