Support: The Invisible Key to Successful Lighting Projects
In lighting design projects, we often talk about wattage, color temperature, and energy efficiency. Yet one factor is all too often overlooked: on-site support right through to the final adjustments.
Installing high-performance fixtures isn’t enough. Without precise on-site work—adjusting orientation, tilt, and intensity—the result can be flat or even unsuitable. Conversely, rigorous on-site support can reveal the full architectural richness of a space, while ensuring visual comfort and energy efficiency.
It is in these final adjustments that the success of a project is determined. The same equipment can produce radically different results depending on the quality of the follow-up and the expertise applied.
Ex 1 – Lancié: Unveiling Heritage Through Design
In Lancié, the lighting of the church perfectly illustrates the impact of the final adjustments. The project relies on modern, precise, and energy-efficient LED lighting equipment. But it is the fine-tuning that has transformed the way the site is perceived.
Same equipment, a completely transformed look. The church’s façade gains depth, the volumes are more clearly defined, and the war memorial is highlighted in a subtle and symbolic way.

Ex 2 – Villechenève: Precision in the Service of Symbolism
In Villechenève, the lighting of the Madonna demonstrates the need for a customized approach.
Here, it’s all about precision: the orientation of the spotlights, the angles of inclination, and the choice of light beams. The goal is not to provide more light, but to provide just the right amount of light.
- The monument’s forms are revealed with subtlety
- The monument’s symbolism is respected
- No glare, no excess
