Gard Greenway – Reinvented railway tunnels

Le Vigan (France)Landscaped park

Along this former railway line, now transformed into a greenway, Pierre Nègre of L’Atelier Lumière designed an immersive lighting scheme evoking the atmosphere of historic railway tunnels.

Two custom-designed lantern models, created specifically by LEC, provide:

  • functional lighting to ensure safe movement,
  • wayfinding illumination,
  • a luminous scenography with evolving coloured atmospheres.

A project that blends industrial memory, poetic lighting, and user safety.
